When I first saw the Painted Harvest Stamp Set I didn't really like it, the main reason was it is a two step stamp set and I'm not that good with two step stamping! Having watched lots of Tutorials on You Tube it did look very easy to use so I decided to buy it.
I am so glad that I did, it is absolutely stunning and so easy to do. Here's the first card I've made - Warning I think there will be plenty more to come!
Yes it is a sunflower and yes they should be yellow but doesn't it look stunning in Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum? I also used Old Olive for the leaves.
It opens up the wrong way, like this
There is plenty of room inside to write a lovely message even with the sentiment and the flower in the bottom right hand corner.
This is what it looks like standing up so even though the front does open up it still stands nicely.
A finally a view from the top.
Thank you for visiting my blog and taking part in
our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to
miss so make sure you carry on hopping through the list. Remember that

DeleteWow, that is beautiful. Love the different fold, and the color combo!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for your lovely comment xx
DeleteLove your card. Did you make your standard size or is it bigger? Would you please post your measurements? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie. This is a 7" x 5" card. Card base is 7" x 7.5" scored on the 7.5" side at 5". The smaller card is 8" x 6" scored on the 8" side at 4". I have since made another with a smalller front which I think works better, for that iI used 7" x 5.5" scored on the 7" side at 3.5". Hope this helps but feel free to come back to me if you need anymore help. My email is jillian@purpleselwood.co.uk xx
DeleteThank you. I tried doing with a 41/4 x 5/1/2 card, I could tell it was smaller than yours. I'm now going to try it with your measurements. Thanks again.
DeleteYou're very welcome Debbie xx

ReplyDeleteThanks oxox
Thanks Lynda, I love fancy fold cards they just add a bit of interest I feel. I've seen a few on YouTube and I changed the dimensions as I wanted a 7" x 5" card. xx
