Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Lots of Lavender Thank you card

Jillian Selwood, Purple Jelly Designs, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

Welcome to the second Pootlers Blog Hop of 2018. Today we are showcasing the fabulous Sale-A-Bration products. Spend £45 and you get to choose from so many wonderful free products.

Sale-A-Bration 2018, Organza Ribbon, Layering Oval Framelits

I love Lavender so when I saw this stamp set I knew I had to order it. For me the only colour it could be was Wisteria Wonder, in real life it is slightly lighter than the photo is showing. Wisteria Wonder is one of my favourite SU Colours and I love how it looks against a white card base.

Lots of Lavender thank you card, Wisteria Wonder, Old Olive

I used Wisteria Wonder and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers to colour in the image. Then I used the small triangle stamp from the Picutre Perfect Birthday stamp set, stamped off once to create a background. I cut the image using the layer oval framelits and sponged the edges with Wisteria Wonder. The ribbon is the brand new White Organza ribbon.

You can never have too many thank you cards and I just love this Thank you sentiment from the Daisy Delight Stamp Set, I heat embossed this using white embossing powder.

Stampin' Up! Sparkle, Shimmer and Shine Thank You card

Jillian Selwood, Purple Jelly Designs, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

Simply Sketched Saturday has had a face lift, we are now called The InspirINK Blog Hop, bringing you inspiration every month.

This month our theme is Sparkle, shimmer and shine.

One thing I don't really do is sparkle, shimmer and shine so this month's theme was a bit of a struggle for me, in more ways than one as the original card I made whilst it fit the bill exactly, I just didn't like it. So finally at the very last minute I came up with this card. This is based on a card I made for one of the Simply Sketched Saturday challenges last year and I really love the layout so it is one of my go to layout designs.

Burmuda Bay, Myths and Magic Glimmer paper, Flourish Thinlit Dies

I started off with a Thick Whisper White base. The layer is from the Bubbles & Fizz Sale-A-Bration DSP, available until end of March with a qualifying order. I then used the Stitched Shaped Framelits to die cut a Burmuda Bay circle, a Silver Foil circle and a Shimmery White Circle which is stamped with Thank you from the new Southern Serenade stamp set. The glimmer paper is from the Myths and Magic Glimmer paper pack, I used the Bermuda Bay and punched out the circle using the Starburst Punch.

Southern Serenade Stamp Set, Bermuda Bay, Thank you card

When I put the stamped circle on the foil circle I thought it looked a little lost so I sponged the edges with Burmuda Bay ink to make it pop. I then added two strips of the same DSP at the bottom of the card.

Flourish Thinlit Dies, Southen Serenade, Sparkle Shimmer and shine card

Finally I added two die cut flowers die cut from the Flourish Thinlits before adding lots of Wink of Stella and some Basic Rhinestones for that bit of bling!

Well I think I have hit the brief with this card, what do you think, do you like it?

Sale-A-Bration Lots of Lavender Stamp Set, Decorated Candle

Back in November I got together with the Crafty Cupcakes for a crafting day after the Stampin' Up! OnStage event in Birmingham.  Our lovely Gemma Clarke showed us how to stamp onto candles using tissue paper. I'd never done this before and have to say I'm a bit hooked now. How fabulous to be able to personalise a candle with whatever image or sentiment you want.

Sale-A-Bration Lots of Lavender Stamp Set, Wisteria Wonder

Here I've used the Lots of Lavender stamp set, I coloured the image using the Stampin' Write Markers in Wisteria Wonder and Old Olive, the ribbon was coloured in Elegant Eggplant. This candle now sits in our living room and matches our decor perfectly!

Stampin' Up! Colourful Seasons Autumnal Card

Jillian Selwood, Purple Jelly Designs, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

Happy New Year everyone. Let's hope 2018 is a good year for us all.

I'd like to share with you the card I made for the October card swap challenge. The theme was Mother Nature.

Colourful Season Autumnal Card, Gold sequin trim

Not sure what this technique is called so I will explain how I made it. Using watercolour paper or thicker cardstock, stamp your leaves in different colours then spritz the paper liberally with water until the ink starts to run. Keep moving the card until all the colours miggle, then let it dry. Once it was dry I heat embossed the 'skeleton' leaf over the larger leaves.

Colourful Season Autumnal Card, Gold sequin trim

I used the beautiful gold sequin trim on the side and mounted it on Tranquil Tide card base.

I just love the effect, if you haven't tried it you should do.

Stampin' Up! Perennial Birthday Project Kit

Jillian Selwood, Purple Jelly Designs, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

Welcome to the Pootles Blog Hop, this time we are celebrating the brand new Stampin' Up! Spring / Summer catalogue and what a catalogue it is, there are so many beautiful new products it was hard to choose which to showcase on my blog today.

Perennial Birthday Project Kit, Perennial Birthday stamp set, Birthday cards

I'm not usually a big fan of kits but when I saw this stunning box I just had to buy it. Doesn't it look amazing? It also comes with 12 dividers that you can label up for the months in the year so you can store all your birthday cards in there.

Dapper Denim, Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive, Wisteria Wonder, Birthday cards

I'm so pleased with the cards in the kit as well, I have made them exactly as the instructions. There are 4 of 4 different designs so 16 cards in all. Here's a closer look of them, aren't they just beautiful?

Stampin' Up! Party Pandas Eclipse New Year Card

Jillian Selwood, Purple Jelly Designs, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

I am so excited to be joining Janet Wakeland's blog hop today, we are showcasing the new 2018 Sale-a-Bration catalogue. My name is Jillian Selwood and I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator based in the UK.

Party Pandas Stamp Set, Party Invitation, Eclipse card, Stampin' Blends

As soon as I saw the Party Pandas stamp set I wanted it! It is just gorgeous and so versatile.

I thought this would make a perfect invitation card for a New Year's Eve party or just a Happy New Year card, either way I'd love to receive it.

Scattered Sequins DTIEF, Party Pandas, 2018 New Year Card

I started off with a card base of Rich Razzleberry and a whisper white layer. I stamped two of the three Panda's and coloured the balloon and party hats with Stampin' Blends in Rich Razzleberry and Pink Pirouette. Next I cut out the numbers 2018 and then dry embossed the layer with the new Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. To finish I highlighted all the sequins and the balloon with my Wink of Stella pen for a bit of sparkle.

I rather like the end result and hope you do too.
