Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Jillian Selwood
It's my Mother-in-Law's birthday this weekend so I thought I'd make her some little note cards as she enjoys writing notes to her friends. Of course I can't just make some decorated note cards I had to make a little box for them to sit in.
Thanks for stopping by, until next time

The lovely Louise Thomas of White Flag Designs designed our sketch this month and here it is:
I was sorting out my craft room last week and discovered that I have a lot of DSP (Designer Series Paper) so I set myself a challenge to use some of it. Making this card was the perfect opportunity,
I have used paper from the Fruit Stand DSP and am rather pleased with how it turned out.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Shadow boxes
Jillian Selwood Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
Shadow boxes seem to be all the rage at the moment on the various Stampin' Up! blogs I subscribe to. They are all different shapes and sizes but all beautiful.
I first watched a You Tube tutorial by Lea Denton of the Crafty Spark nine months ago when she showed how to make a shadow box and I've wanted to make one ever since. I finally got round to making one last week. There is one problem with them, they are addictive I've now made seven!
Here are a the first four I made.
Thanks for stopping by, until next time.

The theme for May was Wedding belles. My card was a bit of cheat as it was one I'd made before but I think this card is absolutely stunning so wanted to use it again.

Business cards
Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Jillian Selwood
I recently bought some new business cards from Ellison Printing in Rishton. I drew out a sketch of the card I wanted and they turned it into a beautiful double sided business card. I highly recommend Jane and Ellison Printing for anything printed.
I dd have some acrylic business card holders but really wanted something a little bit more exciting so when I saw what Ann Melvin of Ann's Happy Stampers had made I just knew they would be perfect for my shiny new cards. To visit Ann's website please click here
I didn't have any DSP (designer series paper - or decorated paper) in Wisteria Wonder (lilac) and Elegant Eggplant (purple) so decided to make my own.
I was rather pleased with how they turned out and they looked brilliant on my stall last Sunday at Cuerden Valley Park Farmers and Craft market.
