Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Lots of Lavender Thank you card

Jillian Selwood, Purple Jelly Designs, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

Welcome to the second Pootlers Blog Hop of 2018. Today we are showcasing the fabulous Sale-A-Bration products. Spend £45 and you get to choose from so many wonderful free products.

Sale-A-Bration 2018, Organza Ribbon, Layering Oval Framelits

I love Lavender so when I saw this stamp set I knew I had to order it. For me the only colour it could be was Wisteria Wonder, in real life it is slightly lighter than the photo is showing. Wisteria Wonder is one of my favourite SU Colours and I love how it looks against a white card base.

Lots of Lavender thank you card, Wisteria Wonder, Old Olive

I used Wisteria Wonder and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers to colour in the image. Then I used the small triangle stamp from the Picutre Perfect Birthday stamp set, stamped off once to create a background. I cut the image using the layer oval framelits and sponged the edges with Wisteria Wonder. The ribbon is the brand new White Organza ribbon.

You can never have too many thank you cards and I just love this Thank you sentiment from the Daisy Delight Stamp Set, I heat embossed this using white embossing powder.

Wedding Card

Jillian Selwood, Purple Jelly Designs, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

The lovely Jane Aitken of Holistic Harmony in Chorley (here is her website http://www.harmony-holistictherapist.co.uk/, if you need a massage or reiki or reflexology I can highly recommend her) asked me if I could make her a wedding card. She wanted a white and gold card and sent me this photograph of a card she liked made by Nancy Gleeson.

As it was made with all Stampin' Up! products that I had, I was able to make this card.

Softly falling embossing folder, Bloomin' Love thinlet dies, Gold foil, Shimmery White cardstock

I was really pleased how it turned out and I love that it was personalised on the front.

The heart was die cut from the Bloomin' Love thinlet dies, isn't the detail just amazing?

For the inside of the card I used the sentiment 'wishing you both a very special day' from the now retired For the New Two Stamp Set.

I am pleased to report that Jane loved the card, just hope the recipients did too and that they had a fabulous wedding.

Thank you for stopping by this week and reading my blog, I do hope you’ve enjoyed it. Until next week.
