Stampin' Up! Fancy Fold card using You're Inspiring Stamp Set

Jillian Selwood, Purple Jelly Designs, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator
Thank you for joining us for another Inspireink Challenge! We’re so excited to be sharing this hop with you.  The products used are all available in the current Annual, or seasonal, Stampin’ Up!® Catalogues*. Simply use the button at the bottom of the post to keep hopping!

The lovely Helzie Lou chose our theme for February and it is a Fancy Fold card. Thanks Helzie they are my favourite cards to make.

No automatic alt text available.

I'm not sure what this fancy fold card is called - I only know that I love making them.

Fancy Fold Card, Sweet Soiree Speciality DSP

I knew I wanted to use the You're Inspiring stamp set so decided to use Daffodil Delight and Old Olive cardstock. The spotty DSP is from the Cake Soiree Speciality DSP pack and I think it looks perfect on this card. I coloured the daffodils in with the new Stampin' Blends. I am absolutely no colourist but I am so impressed with how it has turned out. They are so easy to use even for an amateur like me.

Daffodils, You're Inspiring Stamp Set, Stampin' Blends

The card opens the wrong way and that is probably why I like it so much! I used the smaller Daffodil stamp on the inside of the card.

  4. Jillian,

I absolutely adore 'Fun Folds' and 'interactive' cards. I think your 'Fun Fold' is particularly lovely as it uses a very pretty image (we are all wishing for Spring) on the front and inside and the colour combo is so uplifting too. Thank you for this inspiration.
