Stampin' Up! At Home with you card

The theme for the November Great Card Swap Challenge was Buildings and Landmarks. I was really unsure what to make for this until I remembered I had the At home with you stamp and At home framelit dies. This is what I made.

I'm rather pleased how it has turned out and it is so versatile. It could be used for so many different occasions - New Home, Christmas, Halloween.

The door actually opens and you can stamp a sentiment inside as well, I used the sentiment 'I feel at home when I'm with you'. I used the brick embossing folder on the mat and also used the Wood Textures DSP for the door. The sentiment above the door is 'So happy you are here'

Card Swap April

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Jillian Selwood, Purple Jelly Designs

The theme for April's card swap was Pets or Animals. Despite having a cat and a dog I didn't have any cat or dog or indeed any animal stamp sets so I had to resort to punch art again. Punch art is becoming a bit of an obsession!

This month I was sending my card to Toni Harris, the wonderful lady who organises the card swaps. She has a beautiful cockerpoo dog called Button. I tried to make my dog the same colour as Button.
