Stampin Up! Merry Mice Special Christmas cards

Jillian Selwood, Purple Jelly Designs, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

This year I decided to make all my Christmas cards using the same stamp set, the retired Merry Mice Stamp Set.

For my husband I made a wiper card, in purple, of course!

The front looks quite normal but when you pull on the sides this happens

How cool is that? To find out how you can make one visit Samantha Clayton of Mixed Up Crafts here

Here's a close up of the wiper bit

I also made this Z Fold card for my Mother in Law and my Dad and his partner Kate.

This will be my last blog post before Christmas so I hope you all have a fabulous day and that Santa brings you some lovely presents.

Thank you for stopping by this week and reading my blog, I do hope you’ve enjoyed it. Until next week.

Stampin' Up! Merry Mice Christmas cards

Jillian Selwood, Purple Jelly Designs, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

This year I made three different Christmas cards using the Retired Merry Mice Stamp set. I love this set, it's sooo cute.

I left off the Dazzling Diamonds glitter for the first card as I know not everyone likes glitter, to be honest I'm not a big fan myself as it goes everywhere and I do mean everywhere!

Unfortunately you can't see the Dazzling Diamonds of either of these cards but trust me it is there.

Aren't they cute and I love the sentiment, Merry Christmouse, awww

Thank you for stopping by this week and reading my blog, I do hope you’ve enjoyed it. Until next week.

Pootlers & Artful Stampers Blog Hop December 2016

Jillian Selwood, Purple Jelly Designs, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator

I am so excited to take part in the first Pootlers and Artful Stampers Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from Australia and the UK who have joined together to bring you this very special blog hop.

We didn't have a theme except to use any products from the Annual or Autumn Winter Catalogues.  Here's my creation.

I do love interactive cards and I think the easel card is one of my favourites. I've also used my favourite Christmas DSP - Candy Cane Lane and my favourite Christmas stamp set - Merry Mice. So it's an absolute winner for me!

I used Real Red cardstock for the base then I layered the top with the Crumb Cake DSP. I layered the bottom with the same pattern of DSP but with the Real Red backgroud.

I stamped the three mice on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and added some little stars around the edge which I heat embossed in gold embossing powder.

I die cut this out with the Lots of Labels framelit dies together with a piece of Real Red.

Then I heat embossed the sentiment 'Wishing you a Festive Season' from the Merry Mice stamp set.

This was layered onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock using the smaller Lots of Labels framelit dies.

Thanks for visiting my blog today and I do hope you like my project. Please leave me a comment below.
