This month our theme is Inspired by
nature. I worked in the Falkland Islands for 14 months years ago and it was so strange to live somewhere with absolutely no trees. When I came home I really noticed them and I realised how much I had taken them for granted before. Now I love watching the buds appearing in the Spring and equally love watching the leaves turn colour in the Autumn. Isn't nature amazing?
Anyway I digress, I've wanted to make a Retiform card for a while so this seemed the perfect opportunity. What is Retiform I hear you ask? Well the official Definition of retiform is crossing lines and interstices, reticular, netlike.
I used the gorgeous Stamp Set Lovely as a tree and managed to use all the stamps in the set so that was a bonus as well. The sentiment comes from the Colourful Seasons stamp set.
For the inks I used Lemon Lime Twist, So Saffron, Peekaboo Peach and Basic Black Archival.
