Flip fold cards
Flip fold cards are so easy to make and they look so effective. I have a few birthdays coming up next month so I've made a few, all different colours.
There is still plenty of room inside to write a message to the lucky recipient.

Simply sketched monthly challenge
Thank you for
joining us for another Simply Sketched Saturday Challenge! We’re so excited to
be sharing this hop with you. The
products used are all available in the current Annual, or seasonal, Stampin’
Up!® Catalogues*. Simply use the buttons
at the bottom of the post to keep hopping!
This is my first
ever blog hop – how exciting.
This is the sketch
we were given this month by Karen McDonald:
I have been
following Michelle Zanotti’s blog this month on ‘Let’s use the Leftovers…Series’
so when I saw the five circles on the right I knew exactly which colours I
wanted to use.
The retiring
2014-2016 In Colours are, from top to bottom, Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow, Hello
Honey, Tangelo Twist and Blackberry Bliss. I would never have thought of
using them together but I think they look stunning – I hope you do too.
Thanks for stopping
by and just use the buttons below to keep hopping!

Card swap – March
The card swap for this month is Trains, planes and
automobiles.
I had recently bought the ‘Guy Greetings’ stamp set from
Stampin’ Up! and fortunately this included a lovely vintage car. I was rather
pleased with how this turned out.
My card from Angelina at Intatwyne Designs is a slider card
and is absolutely stunning. I’ve never made a slider card so I think I need to
check out some videos on You Tube and start practising!
The theme for next month is Pets or Animals – again another
hard one for me as I don’t have any stamps that are suitable.

Craft and Crumpet
Craft and Crumpet is a lovely café and gift shop in
Accrington, Lancashire. The gift shop sells locally handmade gifts and cards.
The owner, Shirley, posted on Facebook that she was looking for new and
interesting items to stock in her gift shop.
So I sent her an email and arranged to go and see her with
my boxes and bags. For some reason I also took some cards with me as well.
Shirley was interested in quite a few of my bags and boxes
and thought they would sell. She loved the cards and asked me to make some for
her to display. She particularly asked me to make some that were specific to
crafters. These are some of the cards I made.
I popped into Craft and Crumpet for lunch with my friend Pam at the beginning of last month and was rather pleased to see all my boxes, bags and covered notebooks displayed on this trolley.

Anniversary cards
It is my wedding anniversary on 4th April. I have
been married to my wonderful husband for eight years.
I have made him a shaker card this year. It was my first
attempt and I have to say I’m rather pleased with it. Fortunately Gary likes
purple too!
We have a couple of wedding anniversary's coming up in May so I've made these rather sweet cards.
